Do you Get Enough Protein on a Plant-Based Diet

We have been programmed to believe we need more protein than we really do.

In his book, Proteinaholic: How Our Obsession with Meat Is Killing Us and What We Can Do About It; Dr. Garth Davis writes, “Too much protein is making us sick fat and tired.”

I’ve read many times in my research of plant-based nutrition, “There is no such thing as a protein deficiency.”  (At least not in the United States.)  In some underdeveloped countries, where food is scarce, true protein deficiency and malnutrition are common.
